SCSB performance surface conditioning Roloc style quick change disc offers quality micro scratch finishes especially on metal, but also on plastic coatings and composites, with a consistent, controlled cutting action, recommended for high alloy steels and Non ferrous metals.

These high performance discs can be used for deburring and cleaning welds, with a coarse grit disc, then blending grind lines for a finish suitable for painting with a medium grit disc and then preparing for polishing with a fine gritted disc.

Surface conditioning discs are also known as non-woven discs. Surface conditioning material consists of nylon fibres impregnated with an abrasive grain, this forms a 3 dimensional structured material that gives a uniform cut and a constant finish.

Surface conditioning discs are often colour coded for identification :-

Brown - Coarse Maroon - Medium Fine - Blue/green

must be used with the appropriate backing pad.
