Genuine retaining cap for Powermax 30 and 45 plasma cutter, used to hold the electrode, swirl ring and cutting tip in place. Hypertherm T30v, T45V/ T45M plasma torch.

The outer retaining cap essentially keeps the shield in place on top of the inner cap and directs the shield gas towards the shield.

There is a contact tab present on the outer cap that is used sometimes on THCs as an electrical contact to the work plate.
