428895 Hypertherm Smart Sync Ohmic rings for mechanised cartridges, Pack of three.

The new Hypertherm Smart Sync cartridges now use detachable rings to turn standard mechanised cutting cartridges into Ohmic sensing cartridges.

Ohmic rings can be used on all mechanised cartridges from 30-105 Amp.

They can also be used on Duramax torches using a torch adapter (428951) for Powermax 45XP/65/85/105 systems; however, data storage and cartridge ID are not compatible with Duramax torches.

Smart Sync cartridges are colour coded for ease of identification; Yellow- Drag cutting, Green-Gouging, Grey-Mechanised cutting and Black- Flush cut.

The cartridge stores information on its usage within its own internal chip, including arc starts, transfer and hours used, this can be ready by fitting the cartridge to the Smart Sync torch, info is then displayed on the power source screen. Alternatively, the data can be read by using the optional 528083 cartridge reader and smart phone app.

Using the new range of Hypertherm Smart Sync cartridges improves consumable life by allowing all parts used in the traditional five-piece stack up to wear at equal rates. Using a combination of part worn and new consumables on the same cutting torch reduces the overall life of the consumable stack.

The cartridge replaces the five-piece stack used on alternative plasma cutting systems.
