Hypertherm 428951 Smart Sync cartridge adapter is used to convert existing Hypertherm Duramax torches to be able to use the new Smart Sync cartridge.

Hypertherm plasma machines such as Powermax 45XP, Powermax 65,85 and 105 that use the traditional Duramax consumables which are made up of a 5-piece stack up comprising of swirl ring, electrode, shield, nozzle and retaining cap. All five of these components wear at different rates and fitting part worn consumable with new consumables can reduce overall consumable life.

The new Hypertherm Smart Sync cartridge is a single piece consumable that can eliminate mismatch of misaligned consumables, improving consumable life, the 428951-cartridge adapter is fitted to the existing Duramax torch, the new Smart Sync cartridge is fitted to the adapter.

· Fully compatible with all Smart Sync torches, providing automated process set-up and data transfer to the system.

· Available cartridge reader accessory pairs with Powermax Sync smartphone app to analyse performance data such as starts, transfers and arc on time.

· Limited functionality with Duramax and Duramax Lock torches (found on Powermax 45XP/65X85X105).

· Requires separate torch adapter (part number 428951).

· Does not provide automated process set-up or data transfer.

· No data is recorded when using Smart Sync cartridge with a Duramax torch.
